Prenatal Care

Doula

Postpartum doulas are individuals trained in assisting families during the postpartum period, usually the three months post-birth (also known as the fourth trimester). They provide support, not only to the person who gave birth but to their partners, siblings and other family members.

Midwife

A health-care professional who provides government-funded expert primary care to pregnant people and their newborns. Through pregnancy, labour, birth and the first six weeks after birth, you will be cared for by a small group of midwives.
